Description
Contest entry for the Hobbit Design contest! I didn't want to choose a generic location like the Misty Mountains or the Shire (Which everyone else did). I'm not completely satisfied by the final result, but I tried!
I also disliked the size dimensions in the contest rules. Square, I mean, c'mon. Epic environments look horrible in square. Where's my 16:9 HD ratio!!!
The location is called Dorwinion. Here's the exact description from the Tolkien's Complete Guide to Middle-Earth!
Land on the northwest shores of the Sea of Rhûn. The wines drunk by the Elves of the Woodland Realm were made here.

I'm very glad you made a replacement to my calendar images of my computer. The other image by InDeepBlue is just too overextended for my screen.
