Hey everyone. I've been working on a personal project that started out as my senior thesis in school. It's a few concept designs from some awesome literature! I've been reading this book called Halo: Cryptum by Greg Bear. It's related to the Halo game franchise, and I thought it'd be awesome to visualize some of the scenes in the novel.
This creature is called the Merse. It patrols a crater lake and protects an island, intimidating any in intruders. This creature is very large, hunting small whales and other larger fish.
